Hi jack...
You don’t need so many words to get a point over. Sanchez 500k per week, complete waste of moneyThe point is, what is stupid money? Soon that 500k a week could be the norm for top players....There is a market and market dictates what we need to pay if we want the top players....The club always has the option to walk away if not willing to match what other teams are willing to pay and Value is always subjective....Genuine question, Is it possible we "down value" a player in the market place because we feel we negotiating from a position of strength and already have best squad in the Prem? That doesnt change what a players value is on the open market, just how far we willing to go..I have no issues with us walking away from any deal but it doesnt make us mugs or being desperate, if we match or beat other offers these players have on the table....Staying on top, means you need to continue to improve the squad and buy the best players, sometimes this means you have to offer the best financial package.
obviously a lot of people try to make money but we both know there are some guys who are reliable for city like sam lee, Martin black burn, Simon mullock etc.
For Jorginho no. But I neve said it was off I said if we do indeed get hikacked then questions need to be asked. Do you really think it's acceptable for us to be negotiating for two months only to get in a week or so by a club with no ucl? I still think we're signing him but if it doesn't happ then something went wrong somewhere and we need to fix it.have they all said the deal is off?

I never said it was happening I said IF it happens then we need to look at something. It may not be txiki it could be someone else but he is the DOF and has a large input in these transfer negotiations. So when something goes wrong a lot of people will look at him. I could be wrong and it isn't his fault and I honestly don't care who's fault it is I just want whatever could possibly happen to not happen again.Your problem is instead of trying to discuss any possible breakdown of the transfer, you instead post in a style claiming its happening and judging Txiki and laying the blame for something that is hypothetical only at his door.
Rightly so you have been challenged on it.

Blame has to be on txiki if this is true we had over two months to sign him only to get hijacked by a team with no ucl. This is starting to be a reccuring theme with Alexis Alves and now potentially Jorginho his complacency and slow approach has always been his weakest point imo.
You did blame Txiki....
That final sentence is not one reflected by our squad is it?
Its hardly a recurring theme either given one player has at the last minute had a change of heart and neither can the blame for that change be blamed on anyone other than Alves himself?
Whats become evidently clear is as a Club, we walk away from any deal we don't think is financially sound, see Sanchez and the club should be applauded for that whilst still assembling a squad that has just won the league breaking every record in the books.
