Class player that will/Would have strengthened the squad, if he chooses to go elsewhere then so be it we still have Fern and Gung at DM also believe Stones could do a job there if required.

Curious if this is a new quote. But If City have briefed Blackburn and others then maybe it's not dead yet?

It's very simple. De Laurentagob lies as easily as you or I breathe. Don't pay any attention, to anything he ever comes out with.

My point is this guy hasn't been at the world cup and we've been chasing for weeks. One of the keys to last season was the early deals we got, why have we taken so long here and been seemingly "gazumped"?
The early deals like Danilo, Mendy and Walker?

We don’t know the facts. Jorginho and Agent could have been stringing is along until they knew whether Sarri was about to be confirmed as Chelsea’s manager.

What is clear is that Jorginho’s price was more than we were willing to pay. It is likely that the salary package we were offerings Jorginho was dependant on us securing his signature for less than £50mil.

I think, and you guys might call me a cynic/crazy/paranoid, that the recent developments have brought a few WUMs and trolls to the thread.

There's definitely a worse than usual odor...
Nah, it’s just that a lot of today’s posters must’ve been too busy, doing a bit of early Christmas shopping perhaps, to come on here & give Txiki a well deserved pat on the back (Re his handling of the Mahrez deal)
