Jorginho

Because im totally unaware how good Jorginho is i have been blasé in our summer saga if there is anyone who has seen enough of him can you for see what he will offer us and is a player past or present he resembles Generally i think tranfer business is sluggish im hopeful we will finish up with both Jorginho and Mahrez and being totally greedy Hazard (we can dream cant we)

He's like Busquets, but worse at dribbling and better at pressing. Physically a bit weak being the major negative, although we're probably the one side who can get away with players like that.

Pep was asked by ratboy about having smaller not typically powerful players and he said no problem so long they all run for each other

Dembélé and Thiago are both sick notes that we don’t need. I do some similarities between Jorginho and Gundogan in the DM role as you tend not to notice them much in some games. Both have good positioning but Jorginho is much better defensively and can play the killer ball. He also makes better decisions in the final 3rd. Jorginho may look invisible in some games but at all times he has the ability to change the game with an outstanding assist like De Bruyne. Also our CBs are better on the ball than Napoli’s and our midfield is levels above as well so I would expect him to improve him game considerably. I do see why we value him at a certain price and have some alternatives lined up.

That bit is so wrong based on what I've watched. He is terrible defensively, really, really bad. He is so easily bypased it's laughable really. I've found myself getting annoyed watching him. The way he looks down at his feet as he runs back, like Javi Garcia used to do iirc, started to irritate me too

On Dembele and Thiago being crocks:

Thiago would be a gamble, thus I'd try and do a deal which is heavily apps-based but Dembele isn't injuryprone. He'd also be relatively cheap, PL proven and someone who'd rotate perfectly with Dinho and, given his ability to drive the ball forward, KDB too.

Thank you its funny Merlin was feared to be to slight for our league i even thought B Silva would somehow find it hard going

Dembele's a dud. Anyone who can slag Jorginho and pumps for Dembele doesn't have a worthwhile opinion.

Yeah this will be interesting because unlike those two if Jorginho does sign he'll be playing centrally upon arrival. It's just I imagine if he made it work for Napoli it should be ok here after he settles.
 
Jorjingho only has one year of his contract left. So perhaps we should do a Bayern and get him to sign for us next summer for free with a juicy signing on fee,
