Jorginho’s agent clarifies the midfielder “wouldn’t be sad if he stayed at Napoli” but “Manchester City represents the opportunity of a lifetime”.

The English champions are trying to sign the Italian international, but so far the Partenopei are refusing to budge from their €60m asking price.

Jorginho’s representative warned over the weekend that his client “won’t be very happy” if he doesn’t join City, but he softened that stance somewhat today.

“Jorginho is happy in Naples, but there’s a negotiation with Manchester City and that’s why we’re not talking about a renewal with Napoli,” Joao Santos explained to Tuttomercatoweb.

“We’re talking about a lad for whom Manchester City represents the opportunity of a lifetime, but pay attention: he wouldn’t be sad if he stayed at Napoli. On the contrary, the lad is happy and content in Naples.

“He’d be displeased though, because he’d miss out on a great opportunity like Manchester City.

“Anything could still happen, it’s all open.”

Correct as Karma Chameleon was released in 1983. Them thick fuckers still sing about coming into the ushited road despite most of them not knowing where it is. Mind you come in to the Sir GPC Stand doesn't quite have the same ring to it. I ventured into that stand many times and never had a problem so not sure why they made such a fuss about it

Yes it’s the beginning of Napoli’s deals getting over the line, next they will get their GKs then they have 3 possibilities for Jorginho and 1 for Hamsik. Lobotka so far looks the most likely just need us to finally close Jorginho
