Sound comment. We move on and either get somebody else of as you suggest build from within. I have seen very little of Jorginho so can't really comment on what we might be missing but its very likely he will take time to settle into the EPL and would be viewed as a bit of a gamble imo. I firmly believe we can wait until someone better pops up even if we have to soldier on until next summer.

Oh I don't know - thousands more a week in his pocket, millions more for his agent and Napoli... i'm sure they make London far more attractive, almost make thursday nights in arse-end of Europe palatable.
If indeed this is the case, and Jorginho does indeed think that, then fuck him.

How are we standing still, think we added to the squad yesterday. Still a month of the window to go and I have faith that Pep and the squad we already have still have a bit of a tune in them. I'm not smug and as for our ageing players who do we have who is not up to the job.

Couldn’t really give a shit about the player but it’s a worry that we take weeks to agree deals but Chelsea have done this between Monday and today? Obviously a very different way of operating

There's two versions of that ADL quote now, one saying Chelsea offered Napoli and the player more than City did. This sounds much more like the truth
 
This was always going to be a hard one to pull off Naples are a notoriously hard club to deal with and City seem to becoming the type of club that, ideally you want to avoid selling players to, we are no longer a soft-touch and if as a player club or agent you want "top" money there are better options and at the end of the day if you aren't from England and you don't follow City, isn't the name of the game to get paid the most for your talent
