Jose for City? (merged)

Hahaha, one game against weak Sunderland and Mancini is GOD to everyone.

No - 32 games in to the season and we are 3rd with an FA Cup semi, he is not God but he isn't doing a bad job.

If we had lost one games against a weak Sunderland, you would have been calling for his head.

No, I'm just saying that some of the fans here call for his head after a couple bad games, then when he has one good game against a team that hasn't scored in 7 hours, everyone is back to saying he is GOD. People need to judge managers and players on more than individual games.

Show me this everyone?

There were only two poster that posted in this thread after the final whistle. I was one of them.

Your argument is not really standing up to much scrutiny.

Would you not suggest that 3rd and an FA Cup semi is not decent? Not good enough to judge the manager?

My point isn't that he is a bad manager, I'm just critisizing some fans on here who judge players' performances and the manager's tactics based on a few games. For example when Man City wasn't doing very well before the international break, a lot of fans were doubting Mancini and talking about Jose. Now that City beat Sunderland 5-0 people are saying that he's brilliant. Same goes for players. Alot of the time fans judge players on one game and say that they are shit. I never said Mancini is bad or should be out next season, I'm just saying that we should judge him at the end of the season.

Something I agree with hence me saying "end of thread" as it should be put to bed until June.

It really is astonishing that this is a thread about a manager of Real Madrid ostensibly coming to us, to replace our manager when we are 3rd/4th in the Prem (delete as appropriate) and in the semi's of the FA Cup.

And it's got to 185 pages. What an absurd proposition at this stage of the season, for more reasons than I care to list here.

You do realise the irony that our conversation has just added another half page?

;-)
