Baconface along with Real started the big money spending on players...Moronho took 3 seasons to win the EPL after they'd spent £350million & when you've spent that sort of money you're going to get some sort of success with a club...MH has only just been introduced to money to buy players, so lets see what he can manage with it...he's still got over £150million more to spend to match what Chelski initially spent & up to date Chelski have spent £700million & that still hasn't guaranteed continued success & they've lost 1 more game than us...so that must mean MH is a failure, eh?

Mourinho has a win ratio of just under 68% in all matches whilst Hughes has a ration of just under 43%!

Mourinho has won many personal awards as well as major honours, whilst Hughes has won NOTHING.

Does that make things easier for you?

That makes things much easier...from the point of view that it makes MH's record a lot more impressive from the mediocre teams he's managed in the past, whereas Moronho's teams have always been top teams in their respective countries with a bank balance to match!! BTW the w*nker gave himself the name of 'the special one'...

When merged these hughes out threads will turn into a "lescott" thread at this rate!

FFS calm down and get behind the manager, players and team.

Well given his record, it suggests that he is indeed, a bit special.

Im amazed that you can say that the above stats make MH's record all the better? Think of all the high profile games in big competitions that Mourinho has won against top class opponents. Doesnt that make his record all the more impressive?

Dislike him as a man by all means but please dont try to tell us that he is no better than Hughes as a manager.

Mourinho is paid some absolutely crazy amount by Inter. I believe more than fergie, wenger, benitez combined, about GBP15M per year or so.

Yes we could afford to pay this (though I guess we would have to top this by a fair chunk to land him), but whether our owners would be willing to is another matter...

i am far from religious but i would pray to keep JM from mcfc. Cant think of any one who would be less suitable for the sheik's business model (dignified, honest, honourable) than this character. He was perfect for the chelsea fans( shallow,brash,ego-centric arrogant ) but his style of play and disregard for the rules eventually led to him being flirted.Chelsea overtook the rags in a very short time to become the most despised team in football and this more than anything led to him going. He would always put himself before the club.

No thanks. Stick with MH. However, to placate the "Hughes Outers", I would opt for Hiddink before "The Special One".

Yes re all that.

1 defeat in 14 games.
Top 6 with a game in hand where a result would put us in the top 4
Quarter finals of the League Cup

Yeah, let's get rid.

Ahh yes, the daily Mourinho thread.

I've already given my opinions on the man, and I don't see him as extra special. He took over a Chelsea team that had finished 2nd the previous year, and had reached the Champions League semi's, plus he had all that money to throw around. Its no surprise he won things there. At Inter he's picked up a team that had won the League 3 times in a row previously, again not a huge surprise he won Serie A. His test is to win the Champions League, and his record in Europe is no better than Mancini's so far. That could all change of course, but they were hardly a difficult opponent for United last season. United could have sewn it up in the first leg at the San Siro. I also believe he bottled it at Chelsea, when he no longer had the money he enjoyed in the previous years, and results on the pitch were not going right. He left them 5th in the table, and with a poor 1-1 draw at home to Rosenborg in the Champions League, what turned out to be his last game. He's acheived lots of things, but I feel he gets more plaudits than he deserves, because of his good looks, and the odd funny quote. I rate Wenger and Hiddink higher than Mourinho. What Wenger has achieved with Arsenal on a shoe string budget, is something I feel Mourinho or any other manager, even Ferguson could never do.

As for wanting him at City, its a no for me. I just think his ego will take over, become bigger than the club, fall out with alot of players, and just get in to petty squabbles with other managers. I don't think that will suit the owners.

Whats the point in naming Mourinho as gaffer.

If he wins 2-1 it should have been 4-1.
If he buys a player, it should be another player.
If that player has a bad game, the fury and vengence will be mighty, with all the told you sos.
If he won the league by one point it should have been 10.
If he walked across the Mersey, its becasuse he can't swim.

Welcome to the world of the Heaven Knows I'm a miserable blue.
