Once a succesful manger thhrough the delivery of pure Anti-Football he then become a manager who throws players under the bus (in what universe does this ever work) and now he moves on to high-power official baiting at a level unseen, even from Bingo (Klopp).

He needs to be given a lengthy UEFA stadium ban.

He is United’s third most successful manager. What a guy.

I think Taylor is one of the best English referees of the present crop.

Despite all the rumours that he is a rag, he does a better job than most, when officiating our games.

Give the club a season European ban & a heavy fine for Mourinho.

Awful scenes here, just a game at the end of the day. To go out of your way and attack a bloke and his family isn't on. We wouldn't be able to enjoy the game without these refs. Some make mistakes and are incompetent but they don't deserve this.

I know this is a Europa game but going off tangent I actually think FA refs should be paid more, they deal with a lot more aggro in the public eye than MPs and other public figures.

Completely agree with your first paragraph. Disgusting behaviour by a mob of cowards instigated by the biggest coward the game has ever seen.
Regarding your off tangent comment, if you pay them more, then they would need to be more accountable for their actions on the pitch and be subject to post match interviews in the same way as managers

Referees need to be paid considerably more, as that tends to help reduce the risk of individual corruption (that is, outside entities capturing them for match manipulation; organisational corruption is a different problem entirely) and incentivise people to want to become referees despite the challenges and public pressures.

But, as you said, with that higher compensation would need to come higher accountability similar to other well-paid professions in sport. That includes being mic’d on the pitch, with their comms being broadcast live (FIFA, then the PL, has to be forced in to allowing this), and post-match interviews to explain decisions. It also should include a public grading system so the results of the so-called internal assessments (and the supposed corrective actions taken) are more visible.

These steps would only increase the confidence fans have in officiating (and the top leagues can afford to implement them), so with every season that passes without these changes, fans rightly become more and more suspicious of why, and question more the integrity of not only the officials but the leagues themselves.
