Jose Mourinho

Pretty unpleasant that, his daughter looks terrified. Mourinho is culpable for much of this.
I'd argue he's culpable for all of it, UEFA will probably say it's outside of the ground and so nothing to do with us. He should be getting 12 month ban from all football related activities but will perhaps get a (relatively) small fine for his after match comments.

The trouble with all the Roma players constantly surrounding Taylor during the final, followed by Mourinho then the Roma fans giving him abuse reminded me that I think I've only seen Rodri ( I think) booked for being the third one to the ref in a match ths season. When he got booked they were making a big thing of cracking down on players surrounding the refs, but united and liVARpool players seem to surround the ref on a weekly basis. I wonder if any players will get booked during the FA cup final for surrounding the ref?
I thought it was Dias who got booked but your point stands, I don't think it has been applied to anyone else since.

I totally agree with your statement, but why would you or should you take your family on the job . It was never going to be pleasant with the anti football mob . Do your job then after the season is over go to crete like the rest of us minions.
He probably took them the same way that our players and Pep will be taking their family to watch us tomorrow and next week! To witness their Dad/brother/uncle whatever play or in Taylor's case referee a very important match.

The same way that pop stars and actors take their family to watch them perform. :-)

So why are they subjected to such disgusting, disgraceful behaviour? Mourinho has a lot to answer for and I hope that he gets the book thrown at him and gets banned for a year. If they can ban a young player for betting on matches then they should ban this fool of a man for inciting violence. His behaviour in the car park after the match was bad enough.

EDIT:: I do not agree with the young player betting on matches by the way just that the punishment for Mourinho should be just as severe. :-)

I think Taylor is one of the best English referees of the present crop.

Despite all the rumours that he is a rag, he does a better job than most, when officiating our games.
I have to say I agree. For all the jokes about him being a rag I don't believe it shows in our matches. Disgrace what happened to him and his family

I totally agree with your statement. And as I said previously it's wrong what happened. But is it really a surprise what happened. Football is full of dicks. Every team in the land has a fair few . Some countries/teams have more than others. For example ultras, grown men all in black being bell ends.

Maureen's latest publicity stunt was always going to happen. He's a showman, a performer, and he'll stoop to any level in order to maintain a high profile within the sport. He has got to do this because he knows he is unlikely to ever manage in the Premier league again, and that is where the kudos is, the money, the adulation - the attention he so obviously craves.
His outbursts and histrionics are what keeps him relevant, it's certainly not his style of football that generates public interest. So off he goes again, the ringmaster in the travelling circus that is Mourinho: the flamboyant Master of Ceremonies, the Liberace of football takes centre stage yet again.
