Jose...

Moaninho could well be living in Manchester come August, but only if purple nose retires as that is where he will be the next manager.
He is about the only manager that thinks he is bigger than the rags think they are so it would be a marriage made in heaven, and with the financial problems that the rags have and the fact that moaninho has only ever taken over already top squads and then had a pot of dosh to spend to improve them, it will rapidly become the divorce from hell.

I HATE being beat, however we still need to give Mancini a chance, NO?.................
You're a new poster so presumably missed the threads at the time Mancini came in. However a number of people with good sources were saying that he's just keeping the seat warm for Mourinho, who agreed to come here but wouldn't leave Inter mid-season.

It's not clear what but something happened to make Hughes leave earlier than was planned therefore we needed a replacement pdq. Hence Mancini.

I don't really care what Mancini has won in Italy; plenty of managers have won honours abroad but can't do it in the Premiership. Mancini has won nothing here whereas Mourinho has won two PL titles, an FA Cup and two Carling Cups. He has also won the CL and UEFA Cup whereas Mancini has won nothing in Europe (because negative, defensive Italian football doesn't win European club trophies).

Anyone who says that they would prefer Mancini to Mourinho clearly has no interest in seeing City become successful. I could understand it if we were playing exciting football but the recent games have been dire.

Hat off for that post!

Will come in the summer. Will reinstate Robinho to the starting line up. Will stick two fingers up at the fans that prefer Bellamy. Will sort the defense out. Will sign a midfield 'general'. Will lead us to a first trophy in thirty odd years. Will not be content with second never mind fourth. You'll see.

So your saying we're not going to win the FA Cup this year then??

correct.

stoking the fires again - top four/five or an FA Cup win and Mancio will lead us to glory.

Absolutely, he knows his limitations, he only goes for top clubs with ready build teams and winning mentality. He can have his pick of clubs, he'll choose an established European powerhouse like Madrid, or yes United, or Liverpool. I think City fans should be gratefully with Mancini, because he's always had success with upstart clubs with lack of winning mentality. His image and identity is suited to the club given his affinity with all things blue, and success with underdogs for most of his career. He's trying to build what he did with Inter, give the guy a chance.

Of course he will because it makes perfect sense to leave Milan because of their financial problems and limited transfer funds to go to a club with even bigger financial problems and even more limited transfer funds. Comments like these should be left in the time warp. FACT.

That said, we don't need Mourinhio any more than the rags do.

So remind me, where was he before Chelsea? That top European club Porto. He spent little but had the leadership ability and tactical nous to take them to 2 consecutive Portuguese titles, the UEFA Cup & CL, then went to Chelsea winning two consecutive PL titles.

He'll get nothing to spend at United. They had a net spend of £20m a season from 2000-2005 (when the Glazers came) but since then they've had a net spend of nothing. For the next 5 years net spend will have to be negative just to finance the money that the Glazers have said they will be taking out.

Anyway, what you and anyone else think is irrelevant. It's a done deal.

Anyone who wouldn't have him over Mancini should support Stockport or Oldham, as you clearly are happy with mediocrity and don't want success.

Arrogance belongs at the Swamp not at Eastlands and moaninho is the most arrogant cnut involved in worlkd football at the minute, THAT is why i want him nowhere near OUR club, i am not very happy with Bobby Manc at the minute due to his defensive strategy and some strange tactical decisions, Moaninho would merely continue the reliance on defence, so no need to change for that sake.
Just because we dont want an arrogant cnut n charge of OUR club does not mean we dont want - demand - yearn for success.
