I’ve never really seen the hype about him tbh, doesn’t seem to do anything extraordinary. Tidy enough, but there’s better younger options out there.
I'm also uncertain if he's spot on for us but many people, not just City fans said the same about Gaz Baz, a player you had to watch in person to appreciate.I’ve never really seen the hype about him tbh, doesn’t seem to do anything extraordinary. Of course he’s better than Lewis right now, however he is ten years older. It depends what you want - short term, ready made success or to develop a player who could end up being better.
Obviously we could have both, but I think long term it would effect Lewis if we signed Kimmich

Thats prime, not twilight. There is nothing wrong with having experienced players, KDB is is 32 for gods sake...29 in February. Great player yes, but he'll be coming up to his twilight years very shortly. I'm not sure.
Germans at the end of their career don't do too well outside the Bundesliga. Schweinstiger, Podolski to name a few
29 next month. Best to file this one under the "OnesHe is 28, even in a years time he would still be fine.
Anecdotal evidence. They are not some collective just because of their nationality. They are individual humans, and their nationality plays little to no part in the way they could perform for us. Kimmich is a better player than the both of them ever were and also has a wonderful relationship with Pep. Pep created this guy and clearly loves him. There is a reason for that. We have German-speaking Akanji, Ortega, and Kovacic for faster integration as well.Germans at the end of their career don't do too well outside the Bundesliga. Schweinstiger, Podolski to name a few
