He's been Injured since Jan, this was his first game back. Missed alot of games with injury over the last few years, no really had the chance to loan out or move.

Loads of people seem to forget this. He looked quite rusty last night, which is understandable for an academy player returning from another long term injury. With a good run of games and a bit more confidence he could easily be a good option in the domestic cups. Was very very good against Wycombe last season. The fact that the club is still keeping him around after those injuries and extended his contract, tells us that they must rate him pretty highly

I'd just describe him as raw.

Clearly some good stuff there, but lacking in some decision making.

It's also pre season so you shouldn't really be making fast judgements on these games.

Seems like an unnecessarily harsh assessment of a youth player in a pre-season friendly tbh.
