You see thats the kind of response that both Liverpool and the Rags managers dwelt on. Stay with the old guard and they wont let us down.Far better to bring new players in.You`re stuck in the 1970/80s if you think that squad rotation is a bad thing.Why?
No doubt a good player but doesn’t the defence who’ve won a treble deserve their places in the pecking order?
Reminds me of the Kevin Bond signing which split up the really promising Cayon and Reid partnership in the early 80’s

Because standing still and not strengthening the team leaves us making the same mistake as dippers and scum have made in the past. Always strengthen from a position of power .Why?
