And if someone was willing to make that type of investment it would be well underway i.e. the Rice, Gvardiol, Kane endeavors currently or already done like other moves in that price range like Havertz, Tonali, and Mount. I'm not saying it can't happen but I would be very surprised if someone came in with 80 mil on September 1st and also surprised if City were to agree at such a late date throwing the entire balance of the squad out of kilter with no real chance of bringing in a legitimate replacement...JMHO
