He does not need to go on that trip. We are not looking for him to be ready to face Burnley but rather the gooners, dippers, German rags etc.

How so?

Do you seriously believe we've just woken up to the fact the 2023 summer transfer window's open & are thinking "Oops shit! We better scrabble around & find reinforcements"?

Mate, we'll have our longterm targets identified & will be all too aware that Gundog's gone & there are question marks over the futures of Mahrez, Walker, Laporté & Bernardo AGAIN?

Added to the fact Cancelo's STILL a City player, knowing what'll happen with these players' futures will have a huge bearing on our transfer activity.

We're back on Monday & that's when matters will begin to be resolved one way or the other. We just have to wait, be patient & trust the process.

We've 4 weeks until the season starts & 7 weeks until the transfer window closes. Are you seriously suggesting City don't have a forward plan & we aren't prepared for all eventualities?
