I've been quite positive and quiet about this, but i don't think it will happen.

It is a tad frustrating this seems to not be moving on? We know the price and we are already in profit this summer with transfers?
Think it is the same stance as usual. City will value the player at their own figure and if the deal can’t be done, they will possibly walk away (as much as I don’t want them to). The player clearly wants to come to City and as far as I am aware, no other club has shown any interest in meeting Leipzig’s asking price, so I feel it puts them in an awkward situation.

Looks like if we don’t pay what they want we will walk away as we always do..

It‘s frustrating how we do this. Yes don’t let clubs take the piss, but if it’s just a matter of about 5 or 10% more for a player we really want then pay it, especially if they want to come here.

We can’t expect to stay at the top if we keep baulking at transfer fees. Now is the time we really should be putting our foot on rivals’ throats, as Treble winners, with Pep here, it‘s dangerous becoming complacent.

Conflicting reports on this one. I was under the impression this is done and dusted, and we are simply waiting for Leipzig to secure that LCB to announce it. I guess nobody knows at this point, so we will find out in the next 48 hours since he is due back in Leipzig...
