That number doesn't make much sense. They must mean 90 million Euros. 90 million pounds would be north of 100 million Euros. No way we are paying that much.

Leipzig initially wanted £86m fixed fee and around another £14m ish in add ons? If we got it down to around £90m total then money saved.

I think it's likely just a conversion issue between euros and pounds. 90m pounds could easily mean 86m, as a conversion from 100m euros. Or it could be 105m euros with 100m fixed + 5m add ons and 90m pounds is a nice round number, instead of 91m.

Point being, 85m - 90m pounds is in the ball park of what we should expect given Leipzig's demands and no pressure to sell.
