it was reported in our media, allegedly coming from kova/his team, that he was very impressed with how prepared city were, and this was not his first transfer. city knew EVERYTHING about him apparently. pep’s like poirot basically :D

I don't know if i'm getting old and nostalgic but the transfer window was so much better before Twitter got so involved. I know things got heated at times but some of the tangents the threads would go off on due to lack of 24 info were brilliant and used to make me laugh. It's seems to have got to the stage that people are cursing our club out because someone that no one knows claims to have info. I also hate that it has taken away some of the joy when we get a player because people have wound themselves up so much in the lead up that people are drained by the time it goes through. I'm not having a dig at anyone but people are already getting to the point of saying I don't care anymore.

Spot on, it’s exactly where I’m at. I’ve lost the enthusiasm for this one and if/when he signs it’ll be more “ah, nice” than excitement and joy lol.
My biggest bud bare is those who claim “it’s only £10-15m more than our valuation” they clearly don’t run a business or understand how one runs!
