Yep. If it were a choice between splurging say 60m to entice Reece James from Chelsea or spending 100m + on an unproven lad with a bit of potential who hasn’t demonstrated he has what our midfielders need then clearly anyone sensible buys James.It might be time to actually buy a fullback too!

Yeah he signed a long contract recently. Maybe he’s a Chelsea fan and maybe he’s a one club man like Kane and if he is fair play to him but there aren’t many players in England or even the world who wouldn’t mull over an approach from City very carefully.I‘d love James, but think he‘ll be at Chelsea forever.

The other 2 in the PL that we might look at are Lamptey and Liveramento. Both seem hugely injury prone though.Yeah he signed a long contract recently.
