You don't waste your career playing for second place in Germany when your stock is at the highest it will ever be and can demand a 100m+ move.

Spending another year there is hardly wasting your career. And saying his stock is the highest it will ever be, that may be so, but it certainly isn't a fact.

Of course it is. What does he gain from containing to batter second rate Bundesliga teams. When he can test himself in the best league in the world, playing under one of the best managers and surrounded by other world class talent.

Surely we want a 19 year old who will improve...can't be spending £100m on a 19 year old who's at the top of his game already.. I mean if that was the case, then his best WC for example would have been the last one,,,hmmmm not quite £100m quality tbf....potential yes but i hope he can improve wherever he goes

Except dortmund may want to cash him while his stock is high as ever, you never know your biggest asset will have career ending injury next season.
