Jude Bellingham

Agreed about this news emanating from one source, however there's a journalist who several were saying is very close to Dortmund who's reported the same.

Now I don't know if he's just heard Bellingham to Real from the same Marça source as we all have, or if he's got it from a separate source, but I suppose that guy's the one to ascertain EXACTLY what he's heard from Dortmund's perspective, from whom & when. )(
I assume you’re referring to Berger. He definitely has insight with Dortmund and is reliable enough to take seriously. However, he does write with Dortmund’s best interest in mind and is running parallel with the same Marca story.

No not Berger, another guy. Someone mentioned him saying he's been told the same yesterday...

I’m sure the club will have planned for the fact Bellingham might not come here. It would have been good to sign him but I’m sure we’ll win the league next season whether sign him, or MacAllister, or Rice or just stick with Gundogan and Bernardo.

What we cannot afford to do is let Bernie or Gundo leave and not replace them with similar quality.

Why would City make a statement. Its not as if we've been open to the media about transfers

City will always steer certain journalists if we genuinely aren't in the hunt as we don't like our name being used by agents to instigate faux auctions.

Lots of times they'll quietly say "that's not happening" when asked directly. Bruno Fernandes being a classic case, his agent wouldn't shut up about us. A no comment typically means it's not off the table.

So in summary

Fabrizio does what Fabrizio does — Takes someone’s info, whether garbage or not, and runs it as his own. Pins his first tweet as if he’s the one breaking the news on his own, and then follows the breaking news tweet with another that actually details the source. Which in this case, is no one other than José Félix Díaz, from Marca.

Díaz… the same guy who last year said Haaland would have his ‘decision’ announced by Jan 31st, then 2 months later in March was writing about how Haaland and Mbappe were still on the table for Madrid. Once Haaland announced City, Díaz then decided to take the “Benzema’s form” approach as to why Haaland decided against Madrid.

Berger backing the story is the only source worthy of a mention, as he’s usually a Dortmund mouthpiece. So it might have some legs to it. I’ll continue to wait for a City reply before closing the book on this.
yea but its unlikely berger AND fabrizio would jump on it if it has no concrete legs.... i think whats reported is probably true, he prefers real, lets see if clubs can agree a fee now

Don’t like 100mil signings, fucking terrifying seeing them get tackled. Can easy get 2 top midfielders for that price. Lavia & Maddison offers more depth, PL experience and versatility than Jude, for cheaper and with less pressure on them.
