Have never liked the Beatles song. Hearing it a little less can't be all that bad.
 
Yeah it doesn't sound like much tbf.

But I can say that I learned Graham Hunter also goes by the name 'Big Bumper'.

Greame Hunter said he's no reason to disbelieve reports that Bellingham & Real are close to a deal, but it's not as cut & dried as many believe.

He said it was actually Diario AS who broke the story which Marça jumped on, however this morning AS are rowing back & preaching caution.

They claim Real are in negotiations with Bellingham, but so are several other clubs. Real reckon the story in AS was actually leaked to them by Dortmund to try & smoke City out into the open to force an auction.

He said yesterday's announcements threw everyone, but suited Dortmund best who've accepted Bellingham wants to leave, but wanna ensure they get as higher price as possible for him.

It seems the only party staying totally tight lipped about Bellingham is City!

Timeline:

3 weeks ago Real announced they'd cooled their interest.

2 ½ weeks ago, the Scousers announced they were pulling out.

A week ago Pep told reporters he wasn't commenting on Bellingham.

Yesterday, Greame Hunter believes the Bellingham to Real announcement has emanated from Dortmund, who're trying to stir up an auction.

City have been increasingly mentioned as being a VERY interested party by all & sundry, but so far we've said zip!

It sounds like we're at the put up or shut up, money on the table stage, & it's a case of who sticks their head above the parapet & blinks first.

One thing we should all have learned is that City simply do not do auctions. They get the player's commitment then negotiate a price.
