Bellingham’s performance at the Etihad was arguably the most impressive by a visiting player this season. He showed then that he can go up and down the park all day, and having that energy in the middle for us would make life considerably easier for de Bruyne, Gundogan, and Bernardo, should they all stay. Similarly, with Foden, Grealish, Haaland, and Alvarez, we’d have a devastating counter later in games.
