that midfield baring rodri has very little technical ability, limited creativity....lots of running but thats about it

At the same age, Deli Alli scored 18 Prem goals in a season and looked a decent Prem player (forget what Alli has become). I’m not sure Bellingham is better than that.

Last night was the 9th time I’ve watched Bellingham this season and in every game he’s played against some decent midfielders, he’s been shit and done next to fuck all.

This lad is not ‘it’.

Agree - clearly talented but not sure if 120m is sensible. Bundesliga isn’t a great standard and he has flattered to deceive for England at times. For example Rice has outshone him at the World Cup especially when the chips where down against France.

I have seen him in the flesh twice and he was simply outstanding.

Earlier in the season in the home leg , he was the best player on the pitch but the last 20 he was literally dead on his feet.

The season before was a similar scenario.

He has a real presence and maturity way beyond his tender years and a nasty streak which has been sadly missing in our engine room since Fernandinho moved on.

He seems to be a natural leader of men , which is no mean feat for such a young man.
But in-spite of all his on field abilities, his maturity when he is interviewed is very revealing.

Pay the dosh.

They must have a level of confidence like ourselves otherwise they are gonna look pretty stupid having courted him so publicly… although I guess they’ll resort to the we got priced out by dirty Arab oil money nonsense…. Really need Spurs and or Newcastle to up their game.
