We always seem as fans to worry about the cheaper option . I don't want the cheapest option, I want the very best player in the position we deem necessary to fill . The club can worry about the cost, if Bellingham has been identified as the player we require then we negotiate a fee that all party's are happy with and he pulls on a blue shirt. As a club we don't need to be shopping in budget stores. A player will pay for themselves if they are helping to win games and trophies, and contributing to our success.

He's been a lot better, since returning from the world Cup and I hope this is the start of him kicking on.

I have zero axe to grind...how could I? Its not personal as of course I don't know him. I just don't rate him. I also don't disagree with that he has been one of our best performers recently ( I also pointed out Ake gas Bern, for me, the most consistent).
I just think overall that Grealish is , when compared to players recent past and pesent not at the same level.....not even close
