Jude Bellingham

Very good player, but whoever gets him will overpay by 40-50 M. IMO.

We've all see now that Bundesliga products are overrated in other leagues. (HAALAND ASIDE, HAHA)

It's all relative.

Life is full of people who are willing to pay a premium to get what they want.

It just so happens we can both afford and justify it because our team only needs marginal gains, due to the quality of the players we already have here.

Those outlays keep us ahead of the game while the others have to spend just to stand still.

Testament to how brilliant the Club is run we are now in a position where we can afford to risk £100m-plus outlays because we don't need four or five new players every summer.

Bellingham is the biggest prize in football this summer for a reason.

Not at all, but the link to 22 is very telling.

He seems to have covered the bases, certainly.

Everything from lunchboxes to plastic toys.

Madrid would never let him do that. They bought Ronaldo and Beckham's rights when they joined.

That's how they make their money back, same as United do.

Perhaps we can buy his via Operation Longbow ;)

Just as the Viking was last summer...

And three years younger than the Viking.

We can afford the £50m premium on Bellingham because of the £120m-plus margin we immediately made on Haaland.

That's how powerful City are.

And when Jude maybe wants to move on in five or six years, we can do the same again.

That's why reports are suggesting City are relaxed & quietly confident about the situation.

If you take Haaland & Bellingham as a package & factor in Dortmund's Sancho profit, we'll reputedly pay £130m for Bellingham on top of the £50m we paid for the Viking.

At £180m for those two, Dortmund will have made a fantastic profit on their outlay, & we get 2 of the world's 4 most revered young players for £90m each.

Dortmund also cleared £50m profit on Sancho, so our association with them has seemingly greatly benefitted both clubs.

I believe we are relaxed and confident about the situation because we already have him.

I saw same MO with Grealish and Haaland months in advance.
