Jude Bellingham

Is there any evidence of this 'plastic club' comment that apparently he said?

Fair play to him with what hes foing atm over there.

We all know the media like to big people up only to go after them once they stsrt becoming too successful.

I said this on the match thread… I took a look at his player ratings and they range from the highest on the team to the lowest. He seems to get a lot of credit for being better than the first leg - which isn’t a luxury most other players get. He still seemed pretty quiet to me.

My opinion of him has definitely been colored by this forum - but even my husband who is a Spurs fan and thus doesn’t have any bias - can’t understand why he gets soooo much more attention than Foden.

Because he said we were a plastic club and didn’t want to sign for us. Fucking ignorant prick obviously listens to Talksport and reads the tabloids.

Hope the **** doesn’t win the champions league. Better still I hope we smash these twats next season.
When did he call us a plastic club? Produce the evidence. You're coming across as monumentally bitter. He's an exceptional young player, and if he ever comes to the prem we'd be lucky to have him.

And on what evidence do you perceive ‘nonsense ‘- he hides he has some talent but he hides.

Its nonsense as it was a pure guess to say he didn’t fancy the Premier league and couldn’t cut it
The lad has stepped up and more than made the grade at each stage of his career and is only 20

He’s English and was ripping it up at 16 in the championship so why people would think he couldn’t cut it here is baffling

To suggest there was a thought process on his part that I’m not good enough to make it in England so I’ll sign for Real Madrid where it’s easier is to me nonsense

At the moment he’s been pretty terrible and has been acting like a petulant child.

I think you mean what he was doing the first 6 months when everything was going his way.

I don’t think it was as much about not making it in England (though, that could have played a factor; as someone who has regularly watched both the Premier League and La Liga for last 40 years, the former is much more difficult than the latter, especially if you are playing for Real Madrid), as it was about not thinking he could make it at City, as we don’t receive anywhere near the favouritism and deference that Real Madrid do in Spain or Europe, or make it under Pep, who would have been far, far more demanding than Ancelotti.
