What I meant to add (but had to get back to work) is that although you are only a few decent players away from being a top 4 side, I'm not sure if Hughes is the man who can actually make that happen. I like the bloke after his time with us and do think he's a good manager and he was ideal for you lot before you got the new owners and the money.
Now, he looks like he's struggling a bit and it could well take one of the very top managers (someone like Mourinho) for you to become one of the top 4. There again, I've always maintained that there is a heck of a lot of luck involved in football management so who knows?
