Jules Koundé

This is the only website that lists him as such.
Everywhere else his height ranges between 1.78-1.81 m
The official la liga website lists him at 1.78

1.78m is 5' 10" in proper measurements. My passport says exactly the same, and when I played football (the ball was dubbined) I could head the crossbar (it hurts) from a standing jump, and regularly beat 6 footers in the air. Denis Law was also 1.78m, and no one ever questioned his aerial ability. Being good in the air is all about timing and practice.
Having said that. you do have a natural advantage if you are taller, but, as we all know, size isn't everything! ;-)

Bwahahaha....... 'dubbined'......brings back memories.

Watched him in a friendly against Bilbao, as usual got bored and watched the only decent player on the pitch Ocampos,, like all the other center backs that we have been listed with from Spain, not worth £10 million, will take years adapting to playing in England and Pep`s high back line.

No one is going to sell us top CB for €60m knowing we are desperate and the lack of quality CBs. We either have to be prepared to spend more than that or we miss out again.
Exactly what I do not quite understand, what team will sell a top centre back for under €60m in this market. We won't get any if this is the case. Board stubbornness for 2 seasons straight isn't good.

I have a wild theory here, could it be that Pep has indicated it is his final season? And because of that the board is weary of spending big on a centre half or a striker right away when they can wait a year, study their options, and get the recruitments in on the next manager's terms? Because, obviously, each manager would like their own signings upon arrival (at least some). Especially the way Pep talked about being happy with what the board has given him, and he will not complain now or after (when seemingly, per Sam Lee and few others reliable sources, he expressed his frustrations at not getting Maguire quite clearly).
