As long as he is adequate aerially, and stats suggest he is, his height is a non-issue. Unless Pep leaves and we bring back Peter Reid.

Ake is a little bit below ideal aerially, but I don't think this lad is any less powerful in the air than any of our current cbs, in spite of being a bit smaller.

I hope not hes not good enough in.my eyes, forget all that twitter & Instagram bollocks hes paid to play football, yes injuries an all but hes had plenty of rest now to show us what he can do for me hes to slow, his passing is always 50-50, he gets caught out of position & maybe 2 out of 5 crosses ever hit a City shirt

Cancelo for me all day long but I really tjink Ake will start at LB as Laporte if fit starts every game in the League

Cancelo will battle Walker for RB but for the 1st game Wolves we will have to start with Walker, Garcia, Ake & Cancelo for me Mendy will get a new arsehole ripped if he starts again st Adama Traore

Not sure what height people are going off but he looks reasonably tall on the pitch and powerful in the air. I prefer my own eyes on this one. KK would be ideal as an immediate fix but this one is a great one for potential. Ether i would be excited for...

He's below 6ft, but his hair makes him 6ft 2.

He has a very powerful body & a disproportionate jumping ability, so I think he will be as good or better than any of our cbs.

Vinny's hugeness would probably outdo him but I doubt Stones or Laporte would.

Correct our weakest & it fucking frustrates me is the counter attacking goals we conceed & some dont have to be the quality counter we just look so shit & bad at defending it

Don't lose on Monday & then hopefully have Laporte & maybe young Kounde available for Liecester game & we can crack on, only Aguero then to try & get fit which won't be easy, hes the world's worst in our team to get fit, he always takes a full pre season so dont expect him to be firing for at least 4 weeks of games.

I've been saying g now for a few weeks fuck Koulabily off & now this kid Kounde is being more & more talked about i feel that City have fucked Napoli over stringing them along so they missed out on Gabriel, who went to Arsenal & another CB forget his name.

If Pep wants this kid then Tixi will pay what it takes imo

Sell Nico & Garcia if he wants to go then get what we can for him if Barca dont want or can't find the money as there fucking brasic then he needs to sign a new contract either way I'm not arsed he still has a lot of work to do imo Garcia doesn't have the pace but he is a young kid whereas Kounde looks the better prospect

Keep Stones unless he wants to go or Everton give us £35-40m

Send THB out on loan to a good Championship team or lower Prem outfit like Fulham or West Brom maybe Burnley if Tarkowski goes to West Ham

Get this kid & lets start to look like a side again starting at the back
 
We could buy Kounde tomorrow if we are prepared to pay the price. Let's face it we haven't spent that much, what is it £60m so let's go for it

If Sevilla aren't willing to negotiate either and City have to pay a similar price near to what's needed for Koundé, they might as well close the Koulibaly deal and get him. I really like the idea of Koundé in this backline but he is still far from ready and not a leader/presence like Koulibaly. For what it's worth at least we should know sometime next week
