This guy could be one for the future but I feel what this team needs now is a modern day Andy Morrison type, or another Kompany. The problem is where are they? We need someone the opposition look at in the tunnel.and think, 'Fuck me we're going to have to fight hard to get past this monster.": A vocal and leader by example, a presence. Seriously 1.78m is fucking ridiculous. He’d lose an aerial duel against all tall defenders in the league who have a decent jump. Sure his sprint can help him a bit, but these tall CBs can jump as well. I just can’t see this being successful, there’s no way.

I've seen Kounde's actual height reported at 1.84m which is about 6ft... whereas Koulibaly is 6ft1. Maybe we should forget both of those targets and get a 6ft6 CB we can just bring on for set pieces? maybe that would fit your needs?

The height on Sevilla website is incorrect and from his time at Bordeaux, he is accurately at 1.84m per transfrmarkt. Just about 6", not 5'11 and definitely not 5'8" (1.78m).

Only Transfermarkt states 1.84m, all other sites say 1.78-1.80. I’d struggle to see how Sevilla could get this wrong since he had a medical with them.

Anyway, enough of the height. I just hope he’ll be good for us!
