It seems like a good prospect, but I think we also planned to get him in Manchester in the summer as a leverage in potenital negotiations with team haaland, so we don't end up without any forward as we did last summer.

In overall I would say, that Ferran Torres is a better player in terms of skills and etc. Also, let's consider the fact that both are 21 now and Ferran has already played for Valencia, City and established himself as a regular starter in the national team. Plus, Ferran played all three positions in the attack - LW, RW and CF.

This Julian guy is only the center forward, has good finishing skills with the both legs and looks like a guy who works a lot on the pitch, that's great trait as well.

In a short-term I would say that Ferran is better and that's why Barcelona payed so much money for him, but in a long-term Julian can become a better center-forward, than Torress would ever become..

So I think it's worth a try and the sum club is paying isn't that much - not to take the risk.

P.S But no talent in the world is as good as Palmer for me, so I think that main objective should be to - improve Palmer as much as possible and give him more gaming time..
I can count several games Ferran played where i genuinely forgot he was on the pitch. Good player dont get me wrong, but i dont think Alvarez will have too much to do to better his time at city.

I would say Ferran Torres is a very different player to Julian who is much more versatile.I am not saying Argentina is a better team overall than Spain the World Cup will decide that but I have a question.Do you think it is easier to start in attack for Spain or Argentina. The fact that only Lautaro,Messi and Correa are ahead of him with the likes of Dybala.Ocampos,Lanzini,or Alario further back in the pecking order shows the faith Scaloni has in him.
