I think Aguero is very slightly taller, but the main difference for me is that he had an incredible burst of pace that would allow him to break through the defensive line. He won’t be afforded the space here in and around the box. We play against teams week after week that defend with a low block. To be successful here in this league, you need to have something in your kit that allows you to break the defensive line. I’m not sure what he has right now that will allow him to do that, but I haven’t really seen anywhere near enough to make a firm judgment.Look at Aguero when he first signed for us.
He didn’t look strong either and people thought he wasn’t tall enough.
He certainly bulked up over time and proved you don’t need to be tall to be the best striker in the league…..
