You should look at it in a different way. If you want to leave a top club in Germany, then you have to run down your contract, otherwise the club wouldnt sell the player.

VG - who said Germans have no sense of humour ;-)

guys nostradamus does actually have a point, eventho everything has a price. German clubs are in such a good financial situation, unlike italy or spain, so they can choose not to look at the offers which are made on their players, and they have shown this before, they do hold on to their players for as long as they absolutely can. However if City does put an mindblowing offer on Draxler like 60m, then yeah im quite sure they would accept offcourse. But then again, this would never happen, in the forseeable future anyways.

Let us see it in another way. When you shop in Great Britain every mediocre talent seems to cost a fortune. Why should a German talent - that already proved to be the icing of a cake with 19 - be a lot cheaper. Imagine a 19-year-old English player at a Top-4-Club that is homegrown...

Actually a 21-year-old Jack Wilshere has as much Premier League and CL experience like this 19-year-old. Without being injury prone.

I know it's only paper talk, but surely he'd go for close to double £15 million, wouldn't he?

YCNMIU, Sport1 reporting Bayern could go and get him next. After Dortmund, Schalke probably represent the next biggest threat - Bayern are truly, truly reprehensible if they go and sign Draxler (another midfielder) too. God knows where they'd put him.

reprehensible? for signing top young players?

For systematically destroying the competition. They need Draxler about as much as we need Jerome Boateng. They have tons of great attacking midfielders already.

Is it necessary to have Kroos, Muller, Shaqiri, Robben, Ribery and Gotze! never mind if they buy Draxler!
