Why should Schalke sell him in January for less?
Depends on what position. Everyone is aware of Kroos and Gundogan (though the latter has a terrible nerve problem with his back), the pair of them only have 18 months left on their respective contracts. Meyer is the big star; plays behind the striker and is going to be incredible still only 18. Werner currently plays on the left a lot, but is a striker. Very quick and similar to Owen. Schalke also have this kid called Leon Goretzka, but have not seen more than a few minutes of him coming on so cannot say. Shaqiri might request a move if he does not get enough playing time and he would be a good buy. Then there is Reus another everyone knows about, but there is a good chance he asks to leave in the summer.Kompany is King said:Ruhr said:He has an release clause in his contract over 45 million Euros, that is only valid from end of season till end of june.

Good point on cost.
If not Draxler, who in Germany should City be looking at if we wanted more creativity in midfield.
If it was me Kroos and especially Gundogan would be my top choices.Kompany is King said:Ruhr said:He has an release clause in his contract over 45 million Euros, that is only valid from end of season till end of june.
