Julian Weigl

I demand an overly optimistic, flattering YouTube player compilation video!

Demand, I say!

145! Fuck me, is he a Galactico tortoise?

Yeah, I did. My thrust was for older stars to be replaced by up and coming younger ones. Pogba for Yaya,Isco for Silver,Wieygl for Fernando, Sane for Navas etc.
That was clearly clarified with my posts that followed. But since labeling is a big pastime here, folks are getting caught up on 'ship out'.

This I find particularly interesting. Why is it okay that I want Zab and Yaya shipped out but not Silva. Haven't all 3 been great for City? I want the best for City just like anyone else. If my views on how to achieve that clashes with those of others, so be it. It's not a wum just coz I don't agree with the view of some. Yes, if it was a choice btw Isco and Silva for City's future, yes I'd take Isco. I understand others will go a different route. But that's fine. Just like they think I'm wrong , I think they are too.

Do I think Isco will be better than Silva in 2 years? Yes I do, hence why I want him here, even if at the expense of Silva.
You've not "clarified" anything though as you've contradicted yourself from your "shipping out" post to the subsequent ones.

Is it sell Silva in the summer for Isco like you initially said? Or do what you say Bayern did and buy a second option (as opposed to backup really) and gradually makes us less dependent upon him and prolong his career and thus impact? I'd look no further than the De Bruyne signing but that's just me.

Just stop already.

Isn't there anything negative about Weigl? I am surprised.

I have not seen him shining in the matches against Bayern this season - more the opposite - and whereas I cannot only pin it onto him I see that Dortmund catches a lot of goals against. And you cannot keep the defensive midfielder guilty free for that.

You can if he is 20 and is new to the team. Besides, he is a deep lying playmaker.

Not to mention he's likely be replacing Yaya, who isn't exactly the Berlin Wall in front of the defence.

He just needs to be a good deep lying creator who is willing to track runners, put in tackles etc.

From what i've seen, not much to be honest, but I see him more of an eventual replacement for Fernandinho / Fernando. I think Toure will be replaced with somebody like Pogba or Isco. Giving us a three of Weigl, Pogba / Isco and DeBruyne or Silva.
