Junior Season Cards 50% increase

personally feel pissed off by this, me and my brother have season tickets next to each other, my boy comes to lots of games, and was going to get him a season ticket next season, however will think again now as my brother and certainly not me will NOT want to sit in a bloody family stand. love seeing kids at the ground but dont want to be surrounded by thousands of em.

Really sad we have a bunch of fans that don't get it. No-one subsidises the kids, the club have a break-even target of full paying adults, they'll see kids as extra revenue (as well as these kid friendly meals and stuff) and view it in the long term as building a fan base.

Or at least that's the logic. Just a shame what the club are actually doing is knackering it all.

so our accountants don't weigh up how much we can afford to charge each supporter now? kids don't come into it? really? i suppose our corporate supporters don't help keep our prices down either!

I've lost any modicum of sympathy I did have due to this incessant whining from people who bizarrely think they're getting a raw deal when all it is, is a redressing of the balance. £95 all around the ground never made any sense. For everyone else prices varied according to the standard of the view but this wasn't the case for kids. It's a general fact of life that kids get in everywhere at reduced rates. This is fine - even though they take up as much room as an adult (one arse, one seat). We need kids into the club because we need to get them hooked for life and build a sense of loyalty. However, where this falls apart is, for instance, transport. Kids get on cheaper but does what they pay vary according to how far they're going; of course it does. So why shouldn't they be subject to the same general rule at football matches? Better view = more money. Times are hard but if money is really your genuine priority then move to the family stand. None of this but my friends sit there, or I like the view, surroundings, it's closer to where I park, nonsense. If it's worth something to you then pay for it like the rest of us. My sympathy is now solely going to those in the north stand who are genuinely being forced to move by something other than fiscal necessity.

Bang on skashion, you sit at the front of the bus or buy a window you pay more for the better view right!

Anyway, I'm down to pay an extra £250 next year for the same view as this year

This comment can't be serious. You get on a bus/plane/train to get somewhere. You go to a football match to watch something. On a bus/plane/train you're therefore paying for how far you travel. At a football match you're therefore paying for how good your view is. Not hard is it?

Hence why I said redressing the balance and that it never made sense to begin with.

thats all well and good redressing the balance but if all level 2er's relocate now
where do we all go?
if those that do now fill the 4 corners, what happens to the rest when we get priced out in the season after next?
lovely redressed balance!

You buy a car to the value you can afford and the luxury you want.
Same as your season ticket from now.

No more Bentley for Renault money. They both get you from A2B but one is better than the other.

£535 Season ticket for me and the other 3 members of my family next season, then have to move due to wont be able to afford the Bentley seat I imagine the season after. :(

Been my seat since COMS opened and they are pricing us out for Champagne Charlies......

Dont remember saying anything about this in the survey???

Do you think that the £250 season tickets are all in the gods on 3 tier???
Might be the only way to get 4 together.
