Junior Season Cards 50% increase

In truth the response I made originally posted oversimplified the issue far too much, and those who have pointed out some specific issues to me are right to do so.

The increases in prices aren't massive (and certainly not immoral as another person suggested) but I wholly accept that some people will suffer because of these changes.

The club however are most at fault in how this has been announced and it actually proves a point I made in an email to Garry Cook recently.

I am slightly concerned by the amount of work being done to develop City that us, the fans are last to find out about.

Yes the club have some great people working alongside fans but at the top end there seems to be a desire to get things changed.

A snippet from the email....

All of this leaves a real feeling of the fans coming last and no matter what is then presented there will be some level of resentment that could easily be avoided.......
........honest statement from the club about what timeframes you are working to or even a suggested date for the plans to be made public would defuse all the debate and ill feeling?

So i do agree with the club consulting more and if I get a response from Garry I will let you know what he says.

absolutely crap decision, some families don't want to sit behind the goal, but will now be forced due to the increase.

we wont need a bigger stadium, not with marketing like this.

Question, I sit in the North Stand 132. My lad turns 16 in October. If I am renewing our SC's in May, does he still qualify as a Junior?

My lads first season ticket at maine road was £300 and he was only 8 then dropped to 200 and then to what it is now 95. Even going up to 140 its still about the same price for both of us as it was 6 years ago and the football cant be compared. Not expensive at about £7 quid a game surely !

1 adult + 1 child in family stand = £26.30 - £27 per game

1 adult + 1 child in East/CB stand = £29.50 - £32.30 per game

Don't think anybody is being forced into the family stand

it will cost our family another 100 quid to sit where we are now, still its a good decision because most weeks there are 100s of empty seats behind us.

I take it your in the 3rd tier then,

I know 100 quid is a big hike but come on, £140 for kids at £7.50 a game is still great value.
