You can't build anything in a year.
Whoever's in charge needs a proper chance which no-one's prepared to give Hughes. If a new manager comes in there'll be more changes, more players settling in, more grumbling by Christmas and more speculation about who we should we should replace him with when yet again wind up finishing ninth and winning nowt.
At blackburn he had the same resources as we did at the time and they allways finished above us.

He's taken over a side that had no balance according to him yet that very side finished higher and with more points than his side which had millions chucked at it. Given, SWP, Bridge, Bellamy, De Jong, Kompany all his and chuck in Robinho and he still has managed to make us finish worse than last year. And as for our record away from home don't get me started.
