i havnt missed a game in 9 years home and away, but today was as poor a performance as anything i have ever seen.

So which team do you normally watch? Just wondering if you haven't missed a game for 9 years, you must have slept through some of the Pearce matches if you really are a City fan.
A rag in disguise imo.

Taking off Ireland for Viera was totally baffling considering that we were losing. It should have been either Barry or De Jong. Ireland is the only player we hve who can feed clever balls into the strikers.

You were at Hull then I assume? He was at the game and is saying exactly what some of us have been saying for a few weeks.
Think the OP is more than within his rights to express these opinions - Mancini unquestionably fooked up with his starting 11

Agreed. The OP traveled, and paid his good money, he has every right to complain if the performance was under par. If you traveled a long distance to a restaurant, paid alot of money for it, and the service was crap, the waitors were rude, and the food was substandard, you would complain, and tell your mates that it was bad.

I guess his user name says it all, what a pathetic excuse for a human being!

where was you sat, what did you think to the exclusion of swp, the continued use of ineffective holding midfielders, the lack of width, the decision upon scoring to replace bellamy with another holding midfielder,

or, the crime of wasting steven irelands talent by playing out of postion, or the use of martin petrov on the right wing, the decision at everton to let fellieni win evey ball on the pitch, when we had ned on the bench and could have pushed kompany onto fellieni.

do you like the style of play? if so why?

instead of insulting, try talking about the match.

Which of those has changed from the previous manager?

Maybe we should give him a bit of time hey?

What an idiotic comment. Some of the stuff we've had to watch in the last few games HAS been as bad as anything we saw under Pearce. He ashowed no inclination to attack or seize an advantage in games but tried to stifle the midfield and defence. We didn't give away many to be sure but we scored even less.

piss off, pearce was utterly inept.

but are you comparing pearces city, with the city of today, not really comparable, athough i think both managers could be equally negative, and both have a liking for playing players out of position.

Yet when we stuffed Wolves away and Blackburn at home,Mancini was god.Me is beginning to wonder whether the pressure of the owners to gain that fourth champions league place is putting pressure on the manager and therefore causing Mancini to be cautious in his line ups and tactics?just a thought.

needs quoting... this board is so fickle.

Not some on here. They would say support the owners, they've put a lot of money in, the old chef was crap, of course the waiters were rude because we weren't polite to them when they bought the wrong food for hte second time...etc.

absolutely, but lets hope it gets better, because i guarentee if it dont when 40000 city fans witness it on a regular basis the penny will drop.

mark huhges made mistakes, of course, but the magnificent performances against chelsea and arsenal seem light years away.

not only that mancini is going to alienate players with his bizarre tactics.

I disagree individual mistakes by players yes, but mistakes form an experienced manager noooooooooooooooo at least not huge tactical mistakes like he's making at the mo mate.
I'd rather lose than draw. Oh wait....

Fail... i can take losing when my team is beat by a bit of individual bit of brilliance from a player, or my team did all they could to win the game but inept shite tactical play makes me spew.
