just back, and believe we have appointed a clown

I hate this forum after a loss. You would think that the world was ending in 2 minutes. Do any of you whingers think that at this stage of our development we can go a full season without losing? so why when we have a loss, like every other team does, it's get rid of the manager, he's crap, tactically naive etc.
We are supposed to be supporters of Man City which means support them.
At the end of the season we haven't reached our targets then moan but at the moment it's pointless.
I'm sure if the targets aren't met the owners will react, until then support the manager and team please

We didn't give away many to be sure but we scored even less.

And that was better than today's football because? Just get the original clown to admit he over reacted with his narrow turgid shite bile and move on ready for Bolton Tuesday.

i dont need a weatherman to tell me its raining.

I don't understand the personal attacks on the OP.

We seem too eager to praise people without actually letting them prove themselves and then jump on anyone that questions them at the moment.

I think the OP raises pretty valid points. We're over the honeymoon period now and the run in that looked fairly easy on paper. It'll be an interesting test of his man management and tactical nous with a mixed run in now that the clubs down at the bottom etc are really starting to battle for their lives as realisation hits home.

If the OP went to Hull and saw this first hand he deserves to be taken seriously - he's had all of the M62 back to blighty to consider his words. He is very angry and so are we all.

He made what I and others (some of who were actually at the game) thought was a very valid point. Do you think we're playing well at the moment? We're too narrow, muddled tactics and players out of position. That's a fact pal.

And I thought Pearce was a clueless clown but he could claim he didn't have £200m worth of talent at his disposal.

honestly, its no problem, i have been to the match, know what i have seen, and based on previous performances i dont like the way mancini sets us up.

i promise if we play well against bolton, and play with a certain style, i will be the very first to give credit, i would like nothing more than to have called it totally wrong, but the set up of the team is miles away from being right, fair enough if we dont have the tools to alter it, but we have some wonderful players.

Tbh gaz, i think it's more the manner of the loss... just like everton shite performance against a shite hull team with very strange formation/tactical changes which worries certain fans. Ppl worry when we have a golden opportunity to nail fourth yet fcuk it up.

I only caught the 1st half today and listened to the 2nd half on the radio.
One thing that really hit me was on the radio they were saying that Mancini was on the pitch signing autographs at halftime and Kidd was doing the halftime team talk.

Gotta say that I've not been too impressed with mancini but if he can't even be arsed to take the half time team talk when the team clearly needed sorting out then we have hired the wrong guy!

Shite at everton, dissapointing both legs against manure, lacklustre against pompy and dire today.
Insists on playing the wingers on the wrong wing - how long before he learns this isn't working.
Negative tactics, two holding midfielders and defensive against a team in the drop zone.

He isn't making the best impression!!!!!

I was the same with Hughes as I am with Mancini. I wanted to give Hughes a bit of time to learn, and I don't mind the same with Mancini. But oddly enough, I have more reservations about Mancini - purely for the reason I don't know much about him, and I agree with you, from what I've seen so far the tactics and general setup sometimes baffle me. But is it a case of working with what you have on the premise of maybe not having much money to spend in January/nobody wanting to sell?

I am not gonna start kicking and screaming because I was in work and only had a really poor stream to watch the game on, therefore my judgment would be a superficial one. But a lot of your concerns are shared by what I've seen in the majority of games in the last 6 weeks.

We've gone from a manager learning the ropes who knew the league to a manager who hasn't experienced the league before. So either way it was always going to be a learning curve.
