you have summed up exacly what i wanted to say

yes we are in a great position still, and no doubt we are having our most exciting season for years, BUT alot of things from the past few games are slightly worrying for me, the main worry is how we not so long ago looked unplayable going forward, the closest thing to arsenal and looked like scoring all the time, to now not looking like were going to score at all

think the op is entitled to his say as most of us no u see the whole picture when ur there more so then on tv/comp,gotta say i dont like the narrow tactics or playing certain players out of position an it aint gunna get better untill he rectifies this ino

I guess his user name says it all, what a pathetic excuse for a human being!

where was you sat, what did you think to the exclusion of swp, the continued use of ineffective holding midfielders, the lack of width, the decision upon scoring to replace bellamy with another holding midfielder,

or, the crime of wasting steven irelands talent by playing out of postion, or the use of martin petrov on the right wing, the decision at everton to let fellieni win evey ball on the pitch, when we had ned on the bench and could have pushed kompany onto fellieni.

do you like the style of play? if so why?

instead of insulting, try talking about the match.

I think he's having a pop at you're username, which isn't the best in all honesty.

I agree, we didn't play well today, but what do you expect with the new Gelson Fernandes getting in people's way in midfield. Yes ZAB! YOU! This guy is fookin shit. He's clumsy, slow, over aggresive, doesn't have a clue where to position himself and hardly offers himself as an option to pass to when we are trying to get out of defence.

Add to that the poor form of Barry and Ireland and more recently Bellamy and todays result shouldn't be too much of a shock. We asked for that today because of the line up. Yet some of the players have changed attitude's under Mancini, and if they carry on like that then i'll be quite happy to see them rot in the reserves.

We also must give Mancini a bit of time though. He is still using Hughes signings and until he has the team he wants and a summer window to buy i dont think there is alot we can do but enjoy the ride. Its never an easy one with City, but this season it can still be a positive one. Win our 2 games in hand over Liverpool and we are up in 4th. We have Liverpool at home coming up too which is a real 6 pointer. Win that too and we could be 6 ahead of the scouse.

KEEP THE FAITH!

ive been most matches for the last 3 years and im sorry and slag me off all u want but what the fuck do we get off petrov on the right and swp on the bench i dont agree with the way we play anymore. why last week against portsmouth couldnt we play 442 with the money we have spent,if we cant beat them with a 442 at home we might as well not bother

By the way this message board is about quality, and not quantity. Its not a race to reach hot topics, and its not a race to a million posts. Its also not designed for mobile phones, so please avoid "txt spk" as it has a habit of pissing people off.

I only caught the 1st half today and listened to the 2nd half on the radio.
One thing that really hit me was on the radio they were saying that Mancini was on the pitch signing autographs at halftime and Kidd was doing the halftime team talk.
They showed Mancini on TV signing autographs a good two or three minutes before the City team re-emerged. It was a very strange sight to say the least.

I agree with the OP (although clown is a bit strong).

Some of our most recent performances have been poor and if we are honest if we had played a stronger team than Pompey last week we could easily have lost.

I honestly thought we were getting a manager with some serious tactcial nous but all we seem to have got is a manager who is scared of losing rather than concentrating on winning. He seems to want to still be in a game with 20 mins to go and try and nick something rather than be on the front foot from the outset, which we should have been today.

To play Petrov on the right last week, to have no SWP today, to have Ireland wasting his time on the right, to have a midfield that constantly fails to support the front two, are all mistakes which cannot continue.

He is reminding me more of Benitez with every game - trying to be too clever by half. I have also heard his post match interview tonight and if he knew we were playing too slowly then why was he not bollocking them from the touchline to start playing quicker. If he can't get his point across because of the language then he should be using Kidd more who, in my opinion, is being under used on a match day.

I agree with the OP, Mancini has taken charge in 3 league away games, Wolves, Everton and Hull. With a 200M plus squad is it too much to ask for a minimum of 5 points?
