Why don't you contact the club and see if you can set up a kind of sting operation to catch the guy who did it? He might be stupid enough to try using the season ticket. Just make the stewards and staff on the turnstyle it says to use aware of it, and when he tries to use the card, it might come up as invalid (as you'll have got a new card by then, the old one deactivated) then they might be able to catch him?
