chin up OP, hes probably having a great time lining up to get into hounds heaven(bet its nice there- pretty bitches, bowls of his favourite food and lets go the whole hog and imagine him kicking back with a drink,seeing old friends etc.) time will help heal.

Really feel for you mate i went through the same thing a couple of years ago and without doubt the worst thing ive ever done in my life .My daughter was ask me if i wanted another dog a few weeks ago and i had to say no as i could not go through that again

Its so sad when a pet dies, their a part of the family and I know for one that when my dog dies I dont know how i will be able to cope
