Every player has to die for that shirt Sunday, we are so,so close we can nearly touch the trophy.
Please don't let it slip now, I don't know how I would cope.

But if they all die on Sunday what side are we going to put out for QPR?

I can see our result dictating how the rags get on against Swansea

We beat Newcastle and I can see them being totally demolarised and unmotivated going into their match, meaning Swansea win and we (for all intents and purposes) win the league whilst we're travelling back down the A1

We fail to beat Newcastle and they will be well up for it and will rip Swansea a new arsehole. Can't see them reclaiming top spot and losing it again on the last day.

So basically, we beat Newcastle we win the league, we don't beat Newcastle they win the league

Pretty much this, although they will still go all guns blazing against Swansea whatever happens at St James' I'd have thought. They still need the 3 points and even if we win on Sunday, if they do too, it still goes to the last game. Especially if they wil 6-0 or something.

To be honest, QPR could go down on goal difference too, so there might even be a potential for QPR being happy with a 1-0 loss or something if other results were going their way. Imagine that, we need to win to win the league, we're 1-0 up and QPR park the bus because they don't give a crap about the result as long as the goal difference isn't that bad...Germany v Algeria all over again!

We've got good enough reserves for QPR

Still got QPR too, no celebrations until the cold hard maths says we are Champions.

Having said that, if we beat Newcastle, and Swansea win, I will be unfit for work on Monday. And I won't care.

Bank Holiday on Monday mate, so drink yourself stupid if it happens!

Come on City!

Hold you Horses young man!
Say if we win and Swansea win but on 13/5 we lose and the rags win 20-0 Vs Sunderland. We lose on Goal Difference OR the FA create new rules next week to stop us winning?

So fucking nervous about this game. Their home league form is WWWDDWWWW. Honestly, if i was a neutral, i'd be predicting us to drop points. But since i'm not, i'm going to say we'll do it because i have to believe! Please win City.

God stop this... its not ONLY Newcastle its ALSO QPR... I dread to read that people are so focused on one game and then forget the last game... I know we normally beat QPR easily... but we still need to beat them!!! Never forget that! And yes I know its a home game and yes I know we have several old Man City players playing for QPR... we still need to win TWO more games not only Newcastle!!

That said and out of the system come one Beat Newcastle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we are soooo close!!!!!!!! then we have a fantastic home game against QPR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes me sick just thinking about it and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm trying to think it's just great to be in with a chance with 2 games left but I can't it just doesn't work. Had a look at a few Newcastle sites and they think we're being arrogant on here and they want to to do us to put us down. FFS what do they think the Rags have been like for the past 20 years then?

When champions have to deliver they usually do,Arsenal have won decisive games at the swamp to win the league, they did it in dramatic circumstances against liverpool at Anfield all those years ago,Chelsea have sealed the deal at Old Trafford and went on to win at Anfield.

Sunday is when men become men,and step up to the mark,we did it against the rags, and the likes of Vinny and big Joe will have a massive presence in the away dressing room near kick off time on Sunday.I had two young lads from my home town bricking it on Monday night before the game, and i told them to believe because i did,and i still do now.i just hope the balance isn't tipped in Newcastle's favor by any stupid ref decisions.

I can't help but think the biggest moment in this season's title race was the final ten minutes of the rags game against Everton, that tipped the balance in our favor, and Pab Zab said straight afterwards the whooe squad knew we had been given a title winning lifeline, and one they are DETERMINED not to squander.Believe!!

I'm not liking the idea that Newcastle fans are percieving us as arrogant. Maybe the 'score when we want' song (which I don't like) gives that impression. It's not what we should be about though. England has struggled too long with the classless scally wag fanbase of Champions spouting their derision.

I don't expect any other club to revel in it if City win the league, but I do want them to say "You know what, they never belittled any one else. They never looked down their noses at anyone. They showed us repect when they played us."

None of us underestimate Newcastle, the club, the town, the fans or the team.

But all the same, COME ON CITY!
