Did I say we weren't in form? Some people are trying to convince themselves that Newcastle are going to naively throw 10 players at us, leaving Norwich sized gaps at the back. This isn't how they play, they may have been wank against Wigan but that is more of an isolated event, they are typically hard to score against, especially at home. They've conceded only 5 more goals than us at home this season and everyone knows how good we have been defensively at home.

This is what I've been saying. We're a well organised side, and Pardew is no fool. He simply won't go all-out and leave us exposed UNLESS it's the best tactical decision - which it won't be.
Everyone knows how good your attack force is. Attacking at 100mph is just asking for trouble, but so is sitting back and inviting pressure. I think this will be more of a case of micro management instead of any real primary tactic. We'll make sure our players know their roles in different areas of the pitch and try to control the game with high levels of intensity.
Anyway, of course you guys are the better side, but we're very fortunate to have the home advantage, and it does make a difference. It fires our players up to new heights whilst intimidating the opposition. No one can argue against the difference between the home and away forms of 90% of teams. It makes a difference and that's what we're holding onto.
I don't think he just means SJP. Look at us all season. 17 home wins; 9 away wins with just 2 at top 13 clubs.
