Just one thing Mr Khaldoon

so Mr Khaldoon, I consider it an honour in bringing your attention to these catering related blemishes, and would not dis- honour you by refusing any kind offer of reward you may wish to bestow on me.

Forever your loyal servant,

simonk

I've never been able to work out why our stadium food is so bad. Recently was at Camden Yards - home of Baltimore Orioles.

Got there 30 mins before the start. Did not do the tailgating (a great american pastime) nor did I look in any of the excellent food outlets outside the ground. At each level there are concessions selling various items. For $8 (roughly £5.50) I got chicken tenders and chips which was both massive and top quality. Friend got a burger which looked excellent - like you would get in a restaurant, not McDs. There were other, healthier options too as well as the usual pretzels etc. A coke that you could have floated a canoe in cost $4. Well organised queue, pleasant service.

Why do we put up with crap?

And given that the owners have (rightfully) trumpeted their overhaul of the whole club, how about some decent food and service at a fair price?

Couldn't agree more, I stopped buying the food and beer after they stopped the pie and a pint for £3.

Not just because of the ever expanding waist, just the quality of both the beer and the food went down hill.

The people they have serving just don't give a monkeys.

things are looking up we cant find anything to complain about other than food and drink outlets

I can never understand why anyone buys anything inside the stadium, its been extremely over expensive crap for about 15 years now, the only way that City will get this message is if nobody buys any of it.

You may have a point there. I used to queue up at half time for a shit beer and a non-existent Balti pie. Waste of time.

At the Wolves game, went for a couple at Mary D's, got in the ground early and got a pie only. It's the tactical way to go. I don't mind spending the money so much, just want fast service and a decent product, not flat/cremated shite. What City should do is give the conscession (? mental block on how to spell that) holders a kick up the arse, big time.

Never mind mithering our esteemed and generous leader, His greatness the Sheikh Khaldoun (sp)

Garry's the man for this.

Garry. We know you spent some time in the states and,may or, may not have sampled the fast food available at sporting events. Being a brummie you must also be familiar with the british cuisine. How about a compromise? Burgers and fries (the mark up on frozen french fries must be enormous) Cheeseburgers as a vegetarian option ;-). BOVRIL FTW and,do away with this draught nonsense and get several hundred chilled crates ... lets say £1.50 a can,6 can per customer limit (deter the pissheads)

It's a no brainer!

:EDIT: perhaps a pizza/jacket potato franchise for the ladies and more effeminate male fan too

Kind regards, Bluey

If he's a Brummie he should be able to sort the Balti pies out ffs!
It's a no brainer!

I dont want to appear churlish and feel even more proud to be a blue having watched your interview, but any chance you could have a word about the price of Singha. £3.70 is quite steep.
Your ever humble servant, simonk

Just be careful when talking about alcohol. The Holy Koran has some stiff things to say about it.
It is forbiden in Islam 2 drink, sell, buy or work at a place that has somthing 2 do with alcohol.......Mr.Khaldoon and Sheikh Mansour(as being muslims) have to reconsider the sponsorship agreement with singha and 2 STOP selling alcohol in the stadium....

Actually wouldn't have a problem with that after some of the crap I saw at the last Derby game. Where do they stand on pie contents is more the key issue.
