Just Stop Oil protests

Apologies if a thread already exists, but couldn't see one

These clowns do my head in and it won't be long before one of them gets a good kicking.

Does anyone actually support their methods of protest?

I haven't heard anyone cheer them when they invade the pitch or Wherever
But I do hear people cheering when they get nicked

I don't really have a problem with the method of protest. It's just attention-grabbing, isn't it?

But I tend to have far more respect when the targets of their protests actually have a link to the problem. Are art galleries and snooker fans really the main problem? I'd have far more respect if the same protest was carried out in the business lounge of Heathrow Airport or something. But then there's a bit more security at an airport, so it's easier to go for unsuspecting targets (unsuspecting because they would rightly wonder what it's got to do with them).

It's worth mentioning that they did initially start their protests at the sites of new proposed oil terminals, which is how I think it should be.

Did they do the paint over the painting? I liked that one as a one off.

I don’t think the disruption of sporting events has worked at all and was a bad idea from the start.

I have to admit I don’t know what they’re protesting about.

Are they protesting about things being stopped and they only want oil out of those things to actually be stopped?

Are they protesting about how olive oil is bottled with screw tops and they are wanting stoppers?

i support their aims.

they have the right protest. not sure they have chosen the best ways, but not i may well be wrong

the public deffo do not have the right to give them a good kicking
Your post and your user name seem at odds :-)
