i support their aims.

they have the right protest. not sure they have chosen the best ways, but not i may well be wrong

the public deffo do not have the right to give them a good kicking

They chose to piss people off by doing their stunts and by making others suffer. If that isn’t worthy of a good kicking what is.

Perhaps I come from a different generation. If I act like a **** I know I risk personal pain and then I’d have to figure out if it was worth the risk. All this we can do what we want and get no consequences for our action is bollocks.

And these people want to stop oil production entirely, remember.

Possibly as a long-term aim. But their stated aim currently is that the UK government stop granting licences for new oil and natural gas exploration and production in the UK, and more investment in renewables and insulation for buildings.

Which is incidentally why they aren't protesting in China, because the Chinese government has no control over handing out licences to oil companies in the UK.

I'm surprised they haven't been in touch with the Glazers Out mob who stormed the rag gift shop last week and have effectively led to new ownership at the swamp. They can advise on how to carry out a protest!

We should let them know tht the Glazers are heavily invested in the oil industry, that should do the trick.
