Just Stop Oil protests

Funny how this lot have gone quiet now they've got Palestine to protest about.

Almost as if these rent-a-mob muppets just like to moan about anything that's the flavour of the week.

two points of interest here - the "bad at basic politics" number 10 shitshow don't seem to quite understand that this also reveals that they are off loading responsibility for Policing protests because they don't have the man power to it.
Secondly - how does a motorist prove that they were in the queue - that there was no alternate route they could take? That a certain group were the ones behind assembling the blockage? If several groups assemble is it Just Stop Oil or is it the one's who assembled there from the Rainforest Alliance?
How do you quantify your loss? Its just an announcement for announcements sake again - file it under "never gonna happen"

Correct. They would have a difficulty proving causation, particularly in a busy urban area with multiple factors that could cause congestion and multiple alternatives to driving.

In the tort of negligence you can't claim for pure economic loss, which is what some of the spurious cases of lossed of money might amount to.

It's not a new threat, just an old one repackaged, previously protests have been told they have to pay for public liability insurance or cost of policy.

Worth highlighting that Lord Walney is better known as John Woodcock. The disgraced former labour MP now employed as a Tory attack dog.
